Even More Soothing Relaxing Games

Late last year I wrote about a few of my favorite relaxing games. Based on the high interest in this post from web searchers, clearly a lot of other people are looking for some soothing, relaxing games to soothe their overactive brains. Casual games seem to be all the rage these days as we work harder and longer, and still have less time and money. My only prerequisite for a casual relaxing game are relaxed mouse movements, quiet calming music and/or graphics and a slight, but not too demanding challenge to set the brain free. So here are a few more relaxing games for you to give your brain a little mid day break.

Auditorium

This first game is called Auditorium.  This game has to be the most relaxing game on the net.  There are no right or wrong answers, the music is so soothing and almost hypnotic.  You create your own music by deflecting the light rays.  The most soothing and relaxing games I’ve ever played.

Peggle has been a favorite of mine for several years.  It is one of the most popular puzzle games that gets your mind thinking but not in a stressful way.  There are 55 levels to master and I guarantee you will be addicted in no time.  The good news, you can download a free 60 minute trial.  The bad news, you will be so addicted you’ll want to buy the full game (it’s well worth the price).  While this game isn’t an online game, it is a very quick download and such an entertaining way to take a break from work.  Give it a try and let me know what you think of it.
iWin, Inc.

starshine

Although there is no music in Starshine, it is still one of the more interesting relaxing games on the web.  The goal is to collect all the spinning stars as fast as possible.  You click on the various constellations to change your comets center of gravity and change its direction to collect the stars.  A simple but effective game to give your brain a deserved diversion.

I generally play one of these games every day for a quick down time break. Give these a try, and be sure to let me know about your favorites, in the comments below.
