This webchicklet is a big fan of Jim Cramer and Mad Money (on CNBC every weeknight) for learning how to profit in the stock market. I’m also a big fan of widgets, so when Jim Cramer came out this week with his Mobile Internet Tsunami index, I got to thinking I should track this amazing collection of mobile internet stocks. So I set out to find a useful stock portfolio widget.
For those that don’t know about Jim Cramer and his show Mad Money, Jim is long time fund manager/trader, with a “unique” energy and personality which he brings to his show, while teaching us viewers how and what to invest in regardless of the current state of the market. He also has a charitable trust called Action Alerts Plus, and has a great subscription service that tells you ahead of time, what he’s buying and selling in that charitable trust. You can get a free trial of Action Alerts Plus, it has been an amazing help in my road to portfolio success.
Anyways, I got to searching for stock portfolio widgets and there are many. This webchicklet could spend weeks going through them all, and I just might! But in the meantime here’s a quick, user friendly stock portfolio widget that I set up to track Jim Cramer’s Mobile Internet Tsunami. The widget is from Sane Bull:
With the stock portfolio widget I am keeping tabs on all 21 of Jim Cramers Mad Money Mobile Internet Tsunami stocks. These 21 stocks are his top picks to ride the wave of mobile internet over the next 3 to 5 years. While some, like Apple, Google, and Cisco, are obvious, some were not so obvious, and yes, some I’d never even heard of! But, none the less this webchicklet totally agrees with Jim Cramer. The mobile internet sector is, and will continue to be, hotter than the tech bull market of several years ago!
Anyays, in addition to the prices of the Mad Money Mobile Internet Tsunami stocks, there are also some other great stock market widgets from Sane Bull including a Market News Widget that lets you track all the breaking market news, so you can be the first to jump into ( or out of ) a breaking news stock:
Or, if you want to follow news on a single specific stock that you currently own, or are thinking about buying, there’s a widget for that:
And, just because everyone and their dog has a Twitter account, keep track of breaking company trends/news via Twitter. Now you can see what stock or mutual fund the masses are discussing, real time on Twitter:
There are several other useful financial widgets available from SaneBull.com, but this should be enough to get you started. They also have several money market widgets, currency trading widgets, commodities and futures widgets, and gold or oil widgets!
And for all you Jim Cramer Mad Money fans out there, no best stock widget list would be complete with the official Mad Money Widget.
And last, but certainly not least, no Jim Cramer Mad Money fan should be without the official Mad Money Sound Board. That’s right, this bad boy has all the official Mad Money sound board sounds used in the CNBC Mad Money show every day. Unfortunately, it’s not been widgetized at this point, but check it out and waste a few minutes before calling your broker and buying up the Jim Cramer Mobile internet Tsunami stocks!
